    is it possible to trace all log queries as they happen?

    no, it's not possible, Jet Profiler uses polling. You will need to generate some load on your system to get results. See also this post:

    It means quite a big change in the architecture on how data is gathered, stored and analyzed. But at the same time, it would be a great feature.

    It's not planned for any release this year. But we might do it later on, next year or so.
